Organizing can feel like an isolating task because it's usually done alone. It's easy to get wrapped up in negative self talk, indecision, lack of clarity, low motivation, the list goes on... My friend Alejandra Costello came up with a brilliant idea last year during Covid to solve this problem. She created TeamOrganize and I've been one of the program's coaches since February. Enrollment is open now until November 1. Sign up here.
Here's how it works:
TeamOrganize Zoom calls are held about 18(!) times a month. I run 4 of those - usually once per week. Alejandra runs most, and my Organizer friend in LA, Fay Wolf and cleaning expert Melissa Maker host as well. Members from around the world join each call.
Calls run about 2 and a half hours. Through Q&A sessions and timed 45 minute work sessions (either solo or in small break-out groups), members organize as their Zoom is running. Between timed co-organizing sessions, members share their challenges and triumphs in real time, and we coaches are available for ideas & inspiration along the way. When I described the program to a therapist client she said, "That sounds just like my group therapy sessions!" I think our beloved members would agree.
Coaching TeamOrganize has been a highlight of my career and is certainly a highlight in my week. Guiding 150-200 people at a time through their individual organizing projects brings forth so many stories and examples from clients past. To help so many people at once is something I never imagined possible. Even if you can only join a couple of calls each month, it's well worth it.

What members are saying:
"Kacy, I love how quickly you can talk someone through an obstacle! I learn from listening to you. Thank you."
"Who'd of thought I would ever be excited about decluttering & organizing...but I AM!!!...Thanks to Alejandra, Kacy, and ALL my fellow team members. You're ALL SO AMAZING!!!"
"Thank you for the timed sessions. They make me focus and complete the task in a reasonable time frame, instead of getting distracted or procrastinating while working alone."
"Even though you're not in the room, I feel the love and know that we're working together."
"TO provided me with the missing piece of the curating puzzle, making it fun! Curating my home with a supportive, encouraging group, who are also curating their own homes, has made all the difference for me. It's been my social lifeline since the beginning of the pandemic. Each of the coaches keep it fresh and interesting for the long haul."
